Mary D. Hume
The Mary D. Hume, Gold Beach, OR. Built at Gold Beach in 1881, the Hume had a long career hauling goods to San Francisco, as a whaler in Alaska, and a tugboat. She retired to Gold Beach in 1977. In 1985 she sank in the Rogue River where she’s remained ever since as a derelict vessel.
